Through The Looking Glass

A dark, cinematic visual suite created for Lucid Creates and their “Fragments” stage at Beyond Wonderland 2025.
I produced 172 high-tech, glass-driven loops in two weeks, extending the stage architecture into refractive tunnels, crystalline corridors, and abstract landscapes.

A large-scale visual suite created for Lucid Creates and their “Fragments” stage concept at Beyond Wonderland.
Working closely with Lucid’s show design team, I developed a full library of high-tech, glass-driven worlds that extend the physical stage architecture into a deeper, abstract environment. The aim was to build visuals that feel like a continuation of the structure—an illusion of looking beyond the LED façade into a shifting, crystalline dimension.

Over the course of two weeks, I delivered 172 animated clips at 2808×1040, covering multiple visual themes and variants. The loops were designed for live VJ performance by Lucid, with no fixed beat-sync. Instead, each piece focuses on rhythmic motion, pulse-driven light behavior, and evolving structures that react organically when mixed during the show.

The visual direction blends glass, metal, refractive surfaces, tunnels, geometric corridors, and abstract landscapes, all treated with a cold, cinematic feel. A strong emphasis was placed on glass shaders, depth, and controlled reflections to match the “Fragments” brief and its focus on prismatic, refracted worlds.

All animation and rendering were created in Cinema 4D, using Octane Render and processed through After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. Rendering was completed via OToy Render Network to handle the volume and resolution requirements.

The result is a cohesive visual ecosystem—dark, clean, futuristic—designed to amplify Lucid’s stage design and deliver a seamless extension of the “Through The Looking Glass” world.
